How we work with you

Software alone does not change how an organisation makes decisions.

Flywheel is a platform and an implementation engagement. You get the infrastructure and the expertise to make it work for your organisation. Not a login and a help centre.

What is the Trust Gap?

Four phases. One goal: Evidence that reaches decisions.

Most implementations are live within four to eight weeks. Larger organisations with multiple teams may extend to twelve weeks for a phased rollout.

Symptoms & Indicators

1. Governance design

We start by understanding your organisation: what experiments you run, what research you conduct, what decisions you make, and where the gaps are. This is not a discovery call. It is a half-day workshop with your executive sponsor and the people who will use the platform daily. The output is your governance framework, co-created, not imposed.

What We Do

Map your experimentation and research activity to the Decision Intelligence Stack.

Identify which experiments and studies are running, where governance gaps exist, and which strategic decisions lack evidence.

Design your required fields, approval workflows, and quality gates.

What You Get

A governance framework document tailored to your organisation.

Clear definition of success at 90 days.

Agreement on which teams and which evidence types are in scope. A baseline of your current governance health.

Symptoms & Indicators

2. Platform implementation

We configure Flywheel to match your governance framework, connect your testing tools and research repositories, and import your historical data. We run a governance analysis on your existing experiments so your executive dashboard shows something meaningful from day one, not an empty platform.

What We Do

Configure custom fields, workflows, and dashboards.

Connect your testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, LaunchDarkly).

Import historical experiment and research data.

Run the initial governance health assessment on your existing programme.

What You Get

A live platform with your historical data loaded, your governance framework configured, and your executive dashboard showing real governance health data.

Your team can start entering new experiments and research immediately.

Symptoms & Indicators

3. Team enablement

Training for practitioners, researchers, managers, and executives. Each group gets a different session because they have different needs. Practitioners learn the workflow. Researchers learn the synthesis and impact tracking. Executives learn the dashboard. This is change management, not a product walkthrough.

Practitioner & Specialist Sessions

How to create experiments, document research, use governance workflows, and connect evidence to decisions.

Framed as "this makes your work visible to leadership in a way that protects your budget" rather than surveillance.

Executive Briefings

Walk through the dashboard with real data from the first weeks of implementation. Show what the platform is already revealing about governance health, evidence coverage, and decision gaps.

Symptoms & Indicators

4. Launch and embedded support

Go live is not the end. For the first 90 days, we review every experiment and study entered into the system, flag governance quality issues, and provide feedback. At week 8 we run a mini governance review. At week 12, we deliver the first quarterly governance report to your executive sponsor with real data showing what has changed.

What we do

Review the first 15 to 20 experiments and studies for governance quality. Flag patterns (e.g. decision owner fields being skipped).

Run an 8-week health check.

Deliver the first quarterly governance report.

What you get

Confidence that your team is using the platform correctly.

Evidence that governance is improving.

A quarterly report that shows your executive sponsor the return on the investment.

Symptoms & Indicators

AFTER LAUNCH : Ongoing advisory, not just support tickets.

Flywheel includes standing advisory as part of the subscription. This is not escalation support. It is a governance partnership designed to keep your programme improving.

Monthly

Strategic Checkin

30-minute call with your programme lead to review governance health, discuss upcoming experiments and research, and flag any patterns.

We help you stay connected to the strategic questions your evidence should be answering.

Quarterly

Governance Review

A full governance report presented to your executive sponsor and team leads. Governance score trend, decisions influenced, evidence coverage, verified business impact.

This is the meeting where the programme proves its value.

CONTINUOUS

Programme health alerts

Ongoing monitoring of your governance health metrics.

If governance scores drop, decision owner fields stop being completed, or collision rates rise, we flag it before it becomes a pattern.

As needed

Priority Support

Direct access to the team that built and configured your platform.

Questions answered within 24 hours. Configuration changes handled promptly. No generic help desk.

Diagnosing Your Gap

What people ask before signing.

1. How much time does my team need to commit during implementation?

The governance design workshop takes half a day. Training sessions take two hours each (one for practitioners and researchers, one for executives). Beyond that, your team continues their normal work while we configure the platform. The total time commitment from your team is approximately one to two days across the full implementation.

2. What happens to experiments and research that are already running?

They keep running. We import your historical data from existing tools so you have continuity. Active experiments are added to Flywheel in their current state. There is no disruption to live work.

3. Do we need to replace our testing tools?

No. Flywheel sits above your testing tools, not instead of them. You keep using Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, or whatever you run experiments in. Flywheel connects to them and adds the governance, synthesis, and decision tracking layers they were not designed to provide.

4. What if our teams resist the change?

This is why the governance design workshop exists. The framework is co-created with your team, not imposed on them. The enablement sessions frame governance as visibility and budget protection, not surveillance. We also recommend executive sponsorship as a prerequisite because governance works when it has top-down support.

5. Is the implementation fee separate from the platform subscription?

Standard onboarding (governance design, configuration, training, and 90-day embedded support) is included in the Foundation and Growth tiers. Enterprise implementations with custom integrations or multi-department rollouts may include additional implementation services.

5. What if we are not sure whether we need Flywheel or something simpler?

Start with an Observatory Analysis. It connects to your existing tools, audits your governance health, and gives you a clear picture of whether you have a problem that justifies the investment. Observatory is 3,500 pounds and takes two weeks. If the findings warrant it, you move to Flywheel with a data-driven business case.

Start With A Conversation

We will talk through what governance transformation looks like for your specific organisation, team structure, and programmes. No pitch deck. Just an honest conversation.
